My mornings used to be frenetic. The alarm blared and I resented it. Chronically sleep-deprived, I fought my mental fog with caffeine and rude thoughts.
Get going You’re gonna be late Stop whining.
And as soon as my eyes opened in the morning I saw @Optiksage heading out the door for work.
Today, I’m grateful because our lives have changed. I slept for eight hours last night. Then I started my day with my journal and a pen. @Optiksage made coffee and joined me on the couch for a slow morning. And without the morning rush, my thoughts have become healthier.
